To begin integration with GCP, retrieve the Dataset ID from your Google Cloud Console. This ID is required for configuring the integration. Follow the steps below to locate and verify the Dataset ID.
Step-by-Step Guide to Retrieve the Dataset ID
Open Google Cloud Console
Navigate to Billing
In the Console, go to the Billing section.Select the Billing Account
Choose the billing account associated with the project you wish to integrate. Please ensure that both Detailed usage cost and Pricing are enabled.
If Detailed Usage Cost and Pricing are disabled:
Select Edit settings.
Choose the relevant Project and Dataset ID.Select Edit settings.
If a Dataset does not yet exist, create one in BigQuery linked to this billing account, and select it here.
Access Billing Export Settings
Within the Billing page, locate and open Billing Export.Confirm that the same Dataset ID is configured in both Detailed Usage Cost and Pricing sections.
Verify and Copy the Dataset ID
Copy the Dataset ID.
